FIRE PERFORMANCE
Fire performance matters when planning a Colorado exterior. James Hardie describes its fiber cement siding as noncombustible under ASTM E136 and Class A for flame spread under ASTM E84. We’ll review the selected product and its published specifications with you.
Choose the siding, trim, and installation details as part of a complete exterior plan. Applied paints and coatings may be damaged by flames; siding alone does not make a home fireproof.

EXPLORE THE PRODUCT RANGE
James Hardie offers fiber cement siding in lap, panel, and shingle-style profiles, with trim and finish options to coordinate the exterior. Product selection, availability, installation requirements, and warranty terms should be reviewed for the materials in your estimate.

Choosing James Hardie siding involves more than selecting a color. Start with the architecture of the home and how you want it to feel. Lap siding can create a familiar horizontal rhythm; panel and batten layouts offer a different visual direction; shingle-style accents can bring variation to selected areas.
The most useful next step is a coordinated plan. Look at the roof, windows, doors, trim, and any surfaces staying in place. We’ll help you discuss the product combination and the scope needed to carry the design through installation.
A recognizable product name is only one part of the project. Ask how the estimate handles preparation, flashing transitions, trim, material availability, and the conditions found after removal. Manufacturer product warranties and contractor workmanship warranties are different; review the written terms for the products and work included in your proposal.
